Volunteer Accounts Payable Clerk

Purpose | To provide clerical and accounts payable support to the Accounting Analyst. | ||

Time Commitment | 6 hours per week for 24 months | ||
Duties | The Volunteer will: - Accounts payable invoice/data entry. - Accounts payable payment data entry, post to subledger and printing of cheques. - Maintaining and updating the Purchase Orders Database. - Other duties as assigned ( i.e file and maintain vendor files ). | ||
Personal Qualities and Skills | Required Qualities & Skills: - Proficiency in general accounts payable procedures. -Proficiency with various accounts payable databases. - Analytical skills a must. - Ability to understand and maintain confidentiality. | ||
Training Requirements | Volunteer Core Skills Training, On-the-job Training with Supervisor and/or other Volunteers | ||
