Purpose | To provide administrative, clerical and organizational support to the Program Volunteer Resources Manager | ||

Time Commitment | 16 hours per week for 6 months | ||
Duties | The Volunteer will: - Provide administrative and clerical support to the Manager of Program Volunteer Resources. - Assist the Manager in coordinating all aspects of the Core Skills Training Program: preparing all training materials; coordinating training logistics; note taking; room set up and take down; booking caterers; etc... - Assist Manager in coordinating all aspects of the In-Service Training Series. - Assist in maintaining confidential volunteer records, files and database management. - Coordinate and maintain Department's filing system ( electronic and hard copy documents ). - Data entry. - Work on special projects as assigned by the Manager. - Other duties as assigned. | ||
Personal Qualities and Skills | Required Qualities & Skills: - Excellent communication, written and organizational skills. - A sensitivity and professionalism for the confidential nature of all Program information. - Ability to problem solve and to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision. - Works well in a structured team environment. - Strong time management skills that allows the individual to manage competing priorities and deadlines. - Flexibility in hours that may include working evenings and weekends during peak training periods. - Proficient with computers, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. | ||
