Gay Men's Programs

ACT was founded by Toronto's gay community, and we haven't forgotten where we come from. Although the reality of HIV and AIDS has changed in Toronto, now affecting more communities than ever before, gay and bisexual men still make up the majority of new HIV infections in our city, and the majority of those living with HIV.

It was our community that invented safer sex, and studies show that we practise it the most. For 30 years, our community has survived, thrived and been resilient in the face of HIV - and we're still going strong. All gay men have the right to lead fulfilling and enjoyable lives, whether we are HIV-positive, HIV-negative or we don’t know their HIV status. So - let's keep it up!
