12 Alexander Street, Toronto
ACT Research Day is an annual event for HIV/AIDS service providers, researchers, policy-makers and other community stakeholders. This event is aimed at developing community-based research capacity, knowledge and collaborative research opportunities for front-line staff and researchers. ACT Research Day 2010 is a half-day event to discuss current research, programs and services, policy, as well as the broader political landscape that shapes the work of AIDS service organizations.
PHAs Health and Well-being seeks to address broad issues of health and well-being for people living with HIV. Participants will find out about various research projects which have focused on the health and well-being of people living with HIV. The presenters will engage HIV/AIDS service providers, researchers and policy-makers in moderated discussions on how research may inform HIV and poverty, HIV stigma and discrimination, HIV-positive gay and bisexual men's sexual health, fertility and pregnancy, and families and housing.
Join ACT Research Day 2010 by registering online. This event will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre in downtown Toronto.
ACT Research Day is a free event and lunch will be provided.
